KATS COVID-19 Vaccination and Masking Policy

Early in the year KATS created a COVID-19 vaccination and masking policy that has kept us largely safe during these very trying months. Any member of KATS (cast, musicians, crew and admin) who wished to participate in the in-person version of “Mother Goose” had to provide evidence that they were fully vaccinated (even the children) and they were required to wear masks at all times during all rehearsals and other indoor meetings. We have also strictly adhered to the CDC guidelines on self-isolation given a close contact with someone with a positive test or any KATS member who themselves tested positive (there have been just two breakthrough infections among company members so far).

During performance, we will relax our policy on masks for the performers and musicians, but we hope our socially-distanced audience members will support us by remaining masked throughout. Masks will be freely available for your use on entry to the performance venue. Please wear them. Of course, we also hope that eligible audience members will be fully vaccinated like we are.

Dear All,

Early in the year KATS created a COVID-19 vaccination and masking policy that has kept us largely safe during rehearsals and performance. We have rigorously adhered to the current CDC guidelines with respect to isolation, wearing masks, and being vaccinated.  However, as you know, break out infections do occur even in fully vaccinated people and two of our cast have reported that they are now symptomatic and have tested positive for infection with SARS_CoV_2.Consistent with our policies on Health and Safety, and in an abundance of caution, we are postponing all rehearsals and performances scheduled to occur on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of this week (January 20th-22nd).
Performances will now be January 28 & 29, 2022
